THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Hula Hut Carmel Restaurant Review:

Hula Hut, the smaller spin-off of Chris and Craig Delaney’s larger Hawaiian-themed Monterey restaurant, is churning killer waves as Carmel's “new” fast food. Complement Duke’s luau pork plate, pulled pork with a sweet pineapple glaze, or the fresh fish tacos with a basket of sweet potato fries; you’ll give up all other versions after dipping the highly addictive sticks into the secret (shhh) hula sauce. Wraps and bowls turn Japanese, Thai and Indian, first filled with rice and beans, then mixed with fun combinations like ahi and wasabi cream, or pan-fried tofu and Masaman curry. What else to expect in Hawaii but the most casual of décor? Wear your flip flops and Tommy Bahamas.
