THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Hyde Park Grille Restaurant Review:

This is one of the older locations in the growing Hyde Park chain. Because it’s set in what looks like a house on the corner of two of the busier roads in this neck of the woods, this restaurant is homier than the others in the Cleveland area, and lighter inside-both from its interior colors and, during the day, from many windows. Its menu is still reminiscent of a New York steak house, though. And the steaks are about the best in town. The fish, chicken and pasta dishes are fine, but go directly to one of the steak choices. Twin 8-ounce filets come with béarnaise sauce, onion straws and baked potato. For big eaters, a 20-ounce porterhouse is juicy and, like all the steaks, perfectly cooked. Tuscan steak is prepared in olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar. Garlic steak is a New York strip served with caramelized onions and potatoes. If you have room, try one of the desserts, like the house-made apple crumb pie served with two scoops of ice cream and caramel sauce. Service is a bit formal, but still friendly and helpful.
