THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Il Valletto Restaurant Review:
Head for the elegant little dining room just beyond the bar; it's cozier than the larger front room which can be a bit noisy. As a starter, the bruschetta piled with garlicky diced tomatoes, basil and herbs remains one of the best. Order pasta tossed with diced tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant and fresh basil or with garlicky white-clam sauce. Among standard entrées (choose from the usual veal, chicken and fish dishes), the sautéed zucchini that accompanies them is first-rate. If you've saved room for dessert, offerings include fresh seasonal berries and zabaglione. The Italian and French wine list is a bit on the expensive side.
