India Oven and India Masala Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:

The lunch buffet is a bargain, but dinners are more romantic. Both are leisurely and relaxing, and feature an array of savory dishes to satisfy every palate. The all-you-care-to-eat buffet displays specialties that run the gamut of the à la carte menu, affording tastings of many dishes. Among favorites are vegetable samosas, daal makhni (creamed lentils with exotic spices), channa masala (chickpeas, onions and tomatoes in a thick red sauce), pullao rice (basmati rice with peas), navaratan korma (vegetables with farmer's cheese, herbs and nuts in a creamy white sauce), and chicken and goat curries. We enjoy the thali platters, combination plates tailored to vegetarian and non-vegetarian tastes accompanied by sides of lentils, warm naan, fried pakoras and sauces such as creamy raita and kheer. Seafood, lamb, chicken and vegetables emerge from tandoori ovens. Put out the fire with the mango lassi, a homemade yogurt drink with mango pulp.
