At Isobune diners pluck their selections from little boats floating past in a perpetual "current" of water while two sushi chefs continuously replenish the stock. A wide range of ingredients includes octopus, tuna, dried gourd, abalone, salmon roe, crab meat, red snapper, eel, mackerel, cucumber, fish cake and much more. At the end of the meal, a server counts the empty plates in front of each diner and tabulates the bill. It can be a satisfying, if not especially gourmet, sushi experience. Sushi can also be ordered in boxes to eat in-house or take away. It’s fun family dining; the novelty keeps even the most distracted child entertained.
