Pretty good for a small chain restaurant, and very well located for catching dinner before a movie, this bistro has twinkling lights and a rollicking air. Seasonal decorations give the impression of walking into a party, even when the place is half-empty. Which it seldom is, since its pastas---such as plain spaghetti al pomodoro or penne Siciliana---are homemade, and old standbys such as eggplant Parmigiana are tasty. More than 100 menu items make choosing tough, but start with a mozzarella salad or polenta with mushrooms, and then try a wood-fired pizza or roast chicken.
