Jake Melnick's Corner Tap Restaurant Review:

This lodge-like setting houses plenty of flat-screens, stonewall fireplaces and cherrywood, as well as all the beer you can drink (with 30-plus beers on tap). Meanwhile, a game room features (what else?) darts and video games, and a veranda opens into a canopied patio in the summertime. As for the food, you’ll find pulled pork sandwiches and cornbread with honey butter, but it’s the hot wings that put this Streeterville haunt on the map. Whether you prefer a traditional buffalo style, a super-hot version, or getting creative (try the PB & J wings smothered in Thai peanut sauce with raspberry chipotle jelly), Jake Melnick's has you covered. Wings can also be ordered boneless (although ours came out a little on the drier side). Consider one of the platters, which may be ordered with BBQ brisket, slow-smoked baby-back ribs with Jake’s Famous BBQ Sauce or smoked hot links. And for dessert, what could be more all-American than a warm apple pie skillet?
