THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Jasons Restaurant & Bar Restaurant Review:
In the mood for lobster bisque, egg rolls, pizza, a filet, a burger or Chilean sea bass? How about crab cakes, fried rice, calamari, lettuce wraps, pork chops, pasta or pad thai? This locally owned and operated spot has a diverse (and mostly successful) menu, and the eclectic setting goes right along with the cuisine. Chinese lampshades, a tank of Japanese fighting fish and a shimmering waterfall are among the unique touches. For an appetizer, try the Shanghai pot stickers, filled with chicken, veggies and green onions with a light soy dipping sauce. The signature brown rice is studded with eggs, bean sprouts, scallions and light soy sauce with chicken, beef or shrimp. Our favorite pasta dish is comprised of grilled chicken, applewood-smoked bacon, house-made oven-dried tomatoes, fresh thyme chili flakes and Parmesan tossed with linguine in rich chicken broth.
