THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Jasper's Restaurant Review:

Part of a small, Maryland group of restaurants, this and other Jasper's pride themselves on the upscale pub setting---fancy enough for Granny and Great Aunt Edna---and its funky bar food that comes in heaping portions. That's generally fine, for patrons come away knowing they have gotten their money's worth. But you may want to share such dishes as the beguiling Chinolatino Eggrolls, which as the name indicates, cross several ethnic lines with a wrap-up of grilled chicken and black beans in egg roll wrappers for dunking in pico de gallo. One would do but our order contained three, and that was before the overstuffed grilled Reuben sandwich. That's luncheon fare, but for dinner, look for pastas, main-dish salads, and homey meals such as grilled shrimp and chicken, pan-fried pork chops, and fried catfish. Management has read their market well, for the Sunday brunch is one of the better ones around town and priced to fit most family's budgets. Best of all, for families on the run, Jasper's offers convenient take-away service with food ready if you've called ahead.
