This little restaurant is easy to miss. And with "tavern" in its name, people often think it's just a bar. While there is a bar on one side, the other side boasts a cozy dining room where good food and fast service are the hallmarks. Located in one of North East Ohio’s most cultural neighborhoods, this quaint Irish tavern features a long list of brews, making it a big draw for the bar crowd. The menu is mostly an American affair with some Irish (bangers and mash) options as well. For lunch, the strawberry and spinach salad and corned beef sandwich are top picks. At dinnertime, check out the potato-crusted grouper or roast duck with apricot glaze. Most importantly, however, don’t miss the famous chocolate beet cake, dipped in melted Belgian chocolate and served next to a pillowy pile of freshly whipped cream.
