THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Jimmy's Table Restaurant Review:

With only a dozen tables, Jimmy’s fills up fast, but we don’t mind waiting---or even eating---at the cozy little bar. The small restaurant is bright and airy by day, lushly romantic in the candlelight after dark. There is much we admire on Watkins’s spirited American menu. Soups, like the beguiling bowl of wild rice and mushroom, are deeply flavorful even when made with vegetable stock. Even grits come off with style, soaking up a searing, whisky-laced, okra-and-corn studded barbecue sauce in which two succulent grilled prawns loll on a bed of spinach. Soggy slices of fried yam failed to provide some much needed texture to an otherwise intriguing salad of spinach, cherry tomatoes and goat cheese in pesto vinaigrette. Missteps aside, this newcomer is on our Definitely-Want-To-Go-Back list.
