THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Jinya Ramen Bar Restaurant Review:

Tokyo-based Jinya opened up locations in Los Angeles and a few other cities before landing in New York’s West Village. The operation has been fine-tuned for the competitive ramen landscape, which, for the noodle lover, means that you can eat very well at this cozy, dimly lit restaurant. Tonkotsu black, the signature ramen, features tender pork slices in a garlic oil-spiked nutty broth; there’s also a spicy version and both are utterly addictive. But Jinya doesn’t stop there. The menu is loaded with Japanese tapas delights, such as shrimp toast, crispy rice, and a pork bun that could rival Momofuku Noodle Bar’s version. For dessert, consider the pumpkin cheesecake; otherwise, order another Japanese beer and be glad you found this place.
