Jitlada Restaurant Review:
This cozy restaurant in an East Hollywood mini-mall stays true to authentic Thai cooking. The menu includes southern Thai specialties like steamed green mussels in spicy lemon grass broth, deep-fried whole sea bass showered in garlic, and fried soft-shell crab in fiery gravy. Rice salad is a cult favorite. More standard dishes, like pad see ew, satay and fried rice, are also available. Spice levels may be adjusted to your liking (and can be quite incendiary). Prices are relatively steep for this area. Reservations are recommended, especially for weekends.
