THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Joe's Crab Shack Restaurant Review:

An exuberant waitstaff of young men and women---who could well be refugees from a cruise ship ensemble---dance en troupe when the lifeboat captain gives them the cue. Yes, it is that kind of place. Theatrics aside, the crab here (Dungeness, king, etc.) is good, and in the case of the Dungeness it can be ordered boiled, steamed, garlicky or barbecued. The catfish, however, gets buried under a mess of cornmeal. The Po’boys at lunch are nice, the red beans and rice with chunks of andouille sausage and catfish is a winner and the best dessert is the Key lime pie. Check out the seafood buffet---it has its moments.
