: Joey's Seafood & Grill is part of a coast-to-coast chain founded in 1985 by fanatic fisherman and imaginative chef Joey Klassen in Calgary, Canada. The clam chowder is topnotch, as is the signature Caesar salad with salmon, shrimp or chicken breast. The all-you-can-eat specials with all the trimmings are always favorites---on Mondays, Alaskan snow crab; Tuesdays, fish ‘n’ chips; and on Thursdays, jumbo shrimp. The Friday special is the one-and-a-half-pound Maine lobster. Daily features, the crab pot for two---king crab, snow crab, Dungeness crab, peel-and-eat shrimp, andouille sausage, fresh corn on the cob and boiled potatoes, all seasoned with Cajun spice---are tossed tableside on parchment paper; and crab and shrimp for two---Alaskan snow crab and a half pound of shrimp prepared your way---comes with four Joey's side dishes. Among sandwiches served with rémoulade and bottomless fries is the popcorn shrimp po' boy. Calamari tacos, Asian sesame shrimp and pasta dishes are also on the menu. For a change of pace, there are a few chicken dishes and an Angus burger and steak. Save room for the homemade mud pie.
