THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Joss Restaurant Review:
Cecile Tang Shu Shuen, who runs this serene, minimalist restaurant, has distilled Chinese cuisine down to its essence. The sophisticated menu offers a wide selection of dim sum-skillet-toasted, steamed or crispy Peking duck, lusty Mongolian lamb, plus a myriad of sophisticated dishes you won t find in your everyday Chinese restaurant. Consider the delicate five-mushroom napoleon, the savory duck dumplings or chicken-and-fig soup, the apricot spare ribs or such entrées as Riesling-marinated ostrich medallions and clay pot-roasted free-range venison with glazed ginger. The reasonably priced wine list matches the distinguished specialties.
