A half century ago, the late Atlanta architect John C. Portman Jr. triggered fine dining in downtown Atlanta with Midnight Sun, and his reputation and architectural renown came to Atlanta once again at JP Atlanta in Indigo Hotel. Opening executive chef Julio Delgado, a veteran of The Ritz-Carlton, has left the restaurant, and the seasonal American cuisine is under the direction of Jamie Gruber.
