The "Julia" section of the menu struts traditional Southern dishes, while the "Pearl" part offers more modern flavors --- and names that come from the mothers of the owner and his wife’s family. Menu items like the deviled eggs with crispy chicken skin or the balsamic-honey-glazed pork belly with sweet potatoes are good starters. For mains, try the signature Southern fried chicken or the cornmeal-crusted catfish. Sides range from collard greens and pan-fried cabbage to grits, but make sure to save room for the red velvet cake.
