KaftaMania Restaurant Review

: Food trucks are commonplace on DC streets, and some are now launching their services in the ’burbs. Among them is KaftaMania, a mother-son operation that serves honest Lebanese home cooking. Absolutely order the classic kafta, a dish of seasoned ground beef flattened into a patty and served on a baguette. Another don’t-miss offering is the special Lebanese lentil soup, although it’s an occasional special. But when you find it, snap it up: it's thick with lentils and with a hint of fresh lemon juice. Add a side of the baba ghanouj for a complete lunch.
