THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Kanella Restaurant Review:

Chef Konstantinos Pitsillides brings authentic Cypriot-Greek cuisine to Kanella, a charming BYOB near Pine Street’s Antique Row. Open for breakfast three days a week, this is the spot for Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts, crêpes stuffed with semi-soft sheep cheese, and eggs frizzled in olive oil. But it’s at dinner that the chef really shines. Pitsillides is a master of grilled seafood and deeply flavored braises --- and no wonder, he hails from an island and a family of butchers and farmers. But he also offers familiar Greek menu items with a twist such as vegetarian moussaka, the haloumi cheese-and-mint-filled ravioli, and his country’s version of the Italian bread salad panzanella, but with garlicky pita chips flavored with feta, tomatoes and olives. Don’t miss the house-baked Cypriot pastries for dessert. On Sunday nights, the restaurant offers a multi-course tasting menu, a value at $30 for the vegetarian version and $35 for meat and seafood.
