One of the few non-Asian sit-down establishments in busy, commercial Kearny Mesa, this place emphasizes steaks, especially filet mignon and a loin strip steak served in a gravy-like, whiskey-peppercorn sauce that we don’t much like. Other options include burgers, sandwiches and daily seafood specials. The setting is relaxing, the servers are attentive, and we enjoy the fire that burns in the huge hearth when the weather warrants.
