Konbi is a hip little daytime restaurant in Echo Park serving Japanese-style sandwiches, seasonal vegetable dishes and coffees and desserts. Look for a layered omelet, pork katsu sandwich with cabbage and bulldog sauce, turnips with Meyer lemon, sesame and roasted rice, or a kabocha squash salad with pear, walnuts and miso.
