About the restaurant: Everyone is greeted with a rousing shout upon entering this strangely situated restaurant, located on the second floor of an office building. With a sushi bar and two private tatami rooms, Kurumazushi serves some of the finest sushi and sashimi in the city.
Food & Drinks: Start a meal with usuzukuri, fluke paired with ponzu sauce, or the fatty tuna and scallion tartare. To get a truly authentic and memorable experience, sit at the sushi bar and order omakase. Once the meal begins, know that you’re in good hands as an array of sushi and sashimi --- so fresh you'll swear it's still moving --- appears in front of you in a ritualized order. The meal ends with refreshing ice cream. Saké is served in delicate gold-flecked glasses, and the selection is first-rate.
