La Galleria 33 Restaurant Review

: La Galleria 33 emphasizes the haute over the hearty while demonstrating hospitality in spades. Sure, the exposed brick walls, wood floors and open kitchen look coolly modern, but the hosts and servers exhibit old-fashioned warmth. The menu reins in the red sauce to focus on grilled and roasted meats and seafood, but simplicity remains paramount. Start with a glass of Pinot Grigio and share a sampling of meatballs in marinara or arancini. Indeed, some dishes may be a little too simple, but then the filet of cod with anchovies, capers and marinara is a nice surprise. Finish with tiramisu paired with a cup of cappuccino.
