THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED La Paiva Restaurant Review:
There is a discrepancy between the ostentatious decoration by Jacques Garcia and the traditional intention of this brasserie. Large and comfortable couches are done in rich colors, and a white marble staircase leads to a trendy bar that is very cozy. The brasserie offers a beautiful terrace on the Champs-Élysées with black wicker furniture contrasted by white sun umbrellas. No doubt Tony El Koury, who already manages a group of restaurants, intends to attract businessmen and big bosses of the neighboring corporations. Claude Moncuit, who formerly worked at the Fouquet’s, supplies a pleasant cuisine with high prices. In the same manner, the wine list includes prestigious references ranging from €24 to €1,800, such as Mouton Rothschild 1999 and Château Cheval Blanc 1998. A la carte €65.
