La Table d'Aki Restaurant Review:

Adorned with yellow walls and suspended lamps, the setting is as cool as the atmosphere, and the uncluttered dining room of this tiny gastronomic spot seats only sixteen people. Diners actually enjoy their meal to the muffled strains of classical music. Japanese chef Akihiro Horikoshi may be seen fussing now and then in the semi-open kitchen. Sophisticated courses such as the skillfully seasoned Andalusian gazpacho with langoustines and the yellow pollock with celeriac mousseline bear witness to his savoir-faire. For dessert, the strawberry dacquoise is a treat to the palate as well. Such dishes come at stiff prices but are available in semi portions. Terse wine list with only one white item by the glass, a 2014 Sancerre Grand’Chaille Domaine Thomas & Fils.
