Lameloise Restaurant Review:
The first thing you’ll notice about this rambling old village house, handed down through the generations of the Lameloise family, is how warm and reassured you feel when you cross its threshold. Great care has been taken to preserve the beauty of its thick fifteenth-century walls and the white arches and wrought iron gracing the series of small dining rooms, reminiscent of century-old ties between Burgundy and Spain. Chef Eric Pras took over from Jacques Lameloise in 2009 and continues to uphold the tradition of these walls. The service is dignified but never stiff, and the divine wines are reasonably priced (on the whole). Then there’s that priceless impression you get that all is well with the world --- and that’s worth the trip in itself!
