There’s a large take-out area as you enter the Simi Valley Lamppost, which makes retrieving dinner that is bound for home quick and easy. If you’ve brought the soccer team with you, funnel them into the back of the restaurant, where they can keep busy with arcade games while you do the ordering. Long communal tables and large booths make dining with big groups pleasant. The menu is casual and inexpensive, with pizza as the focus. The specialty pizzas offer interesting, if less than gourmet, combinations, like the "linebacker," with pepperoni, salami, Canadian bacon, ground beef, classic bacon, sausage and cheese. Pastas and sandwiches are under $10 each. The famous cinnamon pie, made on pizza crust, is a winner. Other locations.
