THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Lapis Restaurant Review:

Lapis is a beautiful setting and a hip new venue for dot-commers and other revelers. We want to like the food a lot, but it’s been somewhat inconsistent. We loved the mussels, the flat breads and the lamb shank with fava beans, but other dishes fell short. The bar is fun, especially when the jazz combo starts playing. Try one of the specialty drinks, like the Juliet, for something new and interesting. Keeping with the theme, some desserts are enrobed in phyllo and drizzled with honey.
