Larkburger Restaurant Review:
Upon elevating the burger at his Vail Valley flagship, Larkspur, to cult status, chef Thomas Salamunovich opened a bona fide fast-casual burger barn, which is now a beloved franchise in its own right. The menu is short and to the point --- five burgers served on all-natural buns with the requisite accompaniments: in-season tomatoes, leafy lettuce, the joint's secret house-made sauce, and a litany of gourmet adornments, including Tillamook cheddar and wasabi-ginger dressing. Burgers are wrapped in wax paper and arrive à la carte, which means that the hand-cut truffle- and Parmesan-dusted french fries are an extra indulgence. Along with a few salads and topnotch beef chili, bottled local microbrews round out the menu, although a meal here isn't complete without ordering a chocolate or vanilla shake.
