THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Las Fajitas Restaurant Review:

THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES TO LA FIESTA. Given that the Gaslamp Quarter is one of San Diego's principal dining districts, it seems surprising how little Mexican food of any kind has been available in the area. No surprise, then, that Las Fajitas was warmly welcomed when it opened in mid-1999. It's popular for both its extensive selection of fajitas as well as for a menu that explores many regions of Mexico. There is a variety of unusual seafood dishes, such as salmon en ojas---coated with chile-fired barbecue sauce, wrapped in a corn husk and then grilled----and such Yucatán specialties as chiles en nogada, stuffed with meat and topped with a rich, creamy nut sauce. Enjoy them on the somewhat narrow outdoor terrace or in the pleasant interior dining room.
