: Super-size fruity margaritas are a big draw for the after-work crowd, but this mural-decorated spot super-sizes the entrées, too, and that’s what draws the lunch crowd. They come to feast on huge portions of classic Tex-Mex dishes: pork tamales, fish tacos, enchiladas, fajitas. Sides and desserts are notably well-prepared. Take the refried beans --- too often they’re a pasty afterthought, but these look and taste like cooked-from-scratch pintos. And the cilantro rice with corn is moist and flavorful. Though it’s no longer affiliated with the Woodson Terrace original from which it draws its name, the restaurant’s quality remains intact. |
