Le Basil Restaurant Review:

Finding a decent Southeast Asian restaurant in the desert is not an easy task. But enter this Thai-Vietnamese restaurant from owners Orn and Tom Chotiyanonta and the hunt is over. Standout appetizers are the Vietnamese rolls or the grape leaves rolled with beef. Curries are run-of-the-mill, but the clay pot fish or the ginger fish are worthy entrées. The most popular items are the pho with meatballs and the bun (Vietnamese vermicelli noodles). Carnivores will enjoy the beef options, including Le Basil steak, marinated, sliced, stir-fried and served over salad. For vegetarians, there are plenty of tofu choices. Three varieties of chili sauce are on offer to ensure your dishes will be as hot and spicy as you might like. For dessert, try the fried banana with coconut ice cream. The welcome is warm and the service enthusiastic.
