One of the attractions of the Côte d’Azur city of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, located between Èze and Villefranche-sur-Mer, is the Marina. Whether you are getting on or off your own yacht, or have just come to watch, you will most likely get hungry at a point. In that case, I suggest you stop at restaurateur Yves Pannard‘s restaurant Le Fabuleux Destin.

Open all-year round and all day, the cuisine is simple and pleasant. Local flavors include a seafood salad, pizzas (remember, Italy is very close by), beef ravioli in a Niçoise sauce and sea bream a la plancha. The north shores of France are represented by moules marinères served, bien-sûr, with French fries, clam pasta or roasted St.-Jacques in a truffled potato purée. For a sweet finish, order a crème brûlée or the profiteroles.

There is a short wine list that includes the three colors and bubbles. Some are sold by the glass, 25 cl. or 50 cl. carafe. You can also enjoy the patio while sipping on cocktails.
