Le Pain Quotidien Restaurant Review: Feel free to linger at this rustic-meets-elegant eatery, where pretty young families and Europeans sit at the long communal pine tables, savoring their cappuccino and reading each other's newspapers. Alain Coumont offers savory nut breads and European pastries, along with the gourmet likes of beef carpaccio, Parma ham, duck pâté and soups including iced gazpacho with beet, mango, lime and avocado. At this location only, dinners are served Tuesday through Saturday and feature such entrées as goat cheese and sage ravioli and lamb shank with couscous and mint. Other locations. |
