You'll often find quite a wait for breakfast at this little eatery located in a strip mall a few blocks from Universal Studios Escape. Le Peep offers variety with about 40 breakfast items, and claims that it invented the trendy skillet breakfast way back in 1972. Choose from eight skillets such as the Tex-Mex Desperado, featuring potatoes, chorizo, green chilies, onions and salsa, capped with cheese and two basted eggs. Omelets shine, including the Sir Benedict with chunky chicken, fresh mushrooms, broccoli and cream cheese and sealed with hollandaise sauce. Everyone thinks of Le Peep for breakfast, but its lunch menu includes hefty salads and satisfying burgers and sandwiches.
