Le Pont de la Tour Restaurant Review:

The venue is elegant, with a welcome terrace for summer eating and a dining room with windows looking out on to the Thames and floodlit Tower Bridge. The theme is Anglo-French, championing the best ingredients from both sides of the Channel: rack of lamb, Scottish scallops and Dover sole, simply grilled. Standout dishes include a loin of venison with cabbage, wild mushrooms and butternut squash, and lobster Thermidor as mains; and a pistachio sponge with raspberry and white chocolate cream for dessert. Tables are rather too tightly packed for some and service can at times veer towards the indifferent. The same cannot be said for the sommeliers, whose knowledge and enthusiasm is thoroughly infectious. The wine list is first-rate, particularly for European fine wines, but it ranges far and wide with prices from good value to the really expensive.
