Leesburg Diner Restaurant Review

: Smack dab in the middle of King Street is the Leesburg Diner, the outcome of a refurbishing of the former, more formal Leesburg Restaurant. Making the change to a casual, drop-in place has resulted in crowds at the door, families grabbing tables and a busy scene. Besides, the menu features family-friendly home-style cooking. The breakfast menu is a daily treat for neighbors who can drop in for homemade corned beef hash with two eggs, a stack of buttermilk pancakes, or the Southern favorite, fried chicken with a waffle. The morning meal is served all day, but if you are looking for something a little more entrée-like you will embrace the LD burger, a beef patty made from brisket, short ribs and ground chuck. If you dream of mom’s cooking, order the homemade meatloaf with mashed potatoes. Ask about desserts, too. The selection may be limited but if you crave a sweet go for one of the ultra-creamy milk shakes.
