Legend Seafood Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Seafood is a specialty at this Chinatown restaurant, which serves Cantonese-style Chinese cuisine. It's also one of those Hong Kong-style restaurants that seats hundreds of diners in a single oversize room, including many large parties, with a resulting noise level of a small factory. We suggest going early in the day for dim sum (served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and starting at 8 a.m. on the weekends). The rolling carts bring dozens of varieties, including shark fin dumpling in soup, filled with mushrooms and noodles, with a flavor as deep as the ocean. We're also addicted to the ming har gok, which looks like fried wonton filled with shrimp; and the stuffed green peppers and eggplant, cooked tableside at a rolling gas grill. There's a huge variety of seafood at dinner, including crab, lobster and whole steamed fish. A full bar fulfills everyone's beverage needs.
