Lemongrass Restaurant Review:

Located in a charming Victorian house, Lemongrass stands out from the crush of Thai restaurants. You won't find the usual bulging menu here that most of them flaunt. Instead, the kitchen turns out a small selection of tasty dishes --- tasty and hot, that is. There's a 1-20 "How hot?" spice scale, and diners are actively discouraged from ordering anything higher than 5. However, competitive guests often challenge each other to venture farther up the scale. Luckily, there is more to the cooking than hot peppers. Red meat isn't served, but plenty of shrimp, chicken and vegetable curries are available, along with stir-fries. Order the pad thai or green curry chicken (for this dish, you might want to stick with spice level 0). A cooling cup of Thai iced tea is the perfect accompaniment. Service is famously erratic, and it’s a cash-only establishment.
