Lester's Diner Restaurant Review:
New Yorkers know this style of Greek-owned diner, common on street corners from Manhattan’s Upper East Side to Buffalo. Here’s one of those classics reminiscent of the ’40s and ’50s, complete with Formica counters and stainless steel galleys. Nothing nouveau here, just simple choices at down-to-earth prices. Hamburgers and french fries are winners, as are meatloaf with mushroom gravy and such ethnic favorites as eggplant Parmigiano.
