Created by one of the world's hippest duos, Philippe Starck and Ian Schrager, the Light Bar is, as you'd expect, a painfully cool exercise in minimalism. Simple furniture goes unnoticed, as décor is all about the atmospheric lights flooding each room in pink, orange, violet and green. Enormous black and white close-ups of people making funny faces create a dramatic, if not freaky, ambience. Look for terrific and expensive drinks and snacks of the modish Asian kind, like tempura. Only for hotel guests and members.
