THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Lighthouse Grill Restaurant Review:
Part hamburger joint, part sports bar, part beach hut, The Lighthouse Grill is a great place to stop at the end of a walk along West Seattles Alki Beach. Located across the street from the water, The Lighthouse Grill offers spectacular views of the Sound and on sunny summer days, front row seating for The Cruise---an informal parade of hot rods and hot bods that looks like something out of the movie American Graffiti, except the girls are wearing roller blades instead of roller skates. The menu is straightforward. Caesar salads come classic, with blackened salmon or grilled chicken. Burgers are offered with all the usual suspects: cheese, bacon, mushrooms, blue cheese and (the unusual suspect) pineapple. Chicken wings are spicy and served with cooling blue cheese dressing. The Lighthouse Grill has a full bar in addition to beer and wine. The Alki Lemonade is a refreshing mix of lemonade, Absolut and a berry liqueur, and the Lighthouse Mary gets a kick from wasabi.
