THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Limoncello Restaurant Review:

The Buzzatta family, which owned the now-shuttered Benedetto's, now owns Limoncello in downtown Clayton. The décor is soft, tastefully modern and carefully lit, breaking up a dark and cavernous room. Lunch business from the nearby courthouse keeps things humming, and at night, curious St. Louisans crowd in. What do they eat? The menu covers many of the traditional Italian foods locals have come to expect, heavy on the veal and the beef filets. But the pastas are lighter and more limited, and the daily specials can intrigue, especially the fish. For dessert, the truly wise ask what Lia Buzzatta has made herself; otherwise it's the usual suspects. Service can be erratic.
