THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Little Fish Restaurant Review:
An aquatic island in the midst of this Queen Village neighborhood, Little Fish, with its jazzy blue and green exterior, beckons to the tiniest of dining rooms. The setting, accented with green plaid tablecloths, is so cozy that it’s like eating in someone’s kitchen. In fact, it is someone's kitchen, and the chef may converse with you throughout the meal. All fresh, all fish---specials such as tuna, sea bass and mako---are beautifully presented. This chef excels in flavor pairings---witness combinations such as salmon, lemon-caper vinaigrette, chile peppers and cauliflower or skate with spinach spätzle and pancetta. Ask about the terrific $28 five-course deal served Sundays. The menu changes weekly, and might include a marlin curry stew, scallop sashimi or Sicilian calamari with pastina. Don’t forget to BYOB.
