Locanda Cipriani Restaurant Review:

Locanda Cipriani is one of those typical laid back Italian places where the casual, chic crowd gathers for Sunday lunch in the garden. It’s part of the Cipriani family heritage places, like Harry’s Bar. When it is too cold to eat “al fresco,” the interior is simple but stylish, with wooden beams and terra cotta floor tiles. Chef Cristian Angiolin oversees the kitchen, which turns out dishes highlighting house-made pasta and rice, vegetables and fish, and also the Cipriani-invented “carpaccio” of raw meat and John Dory “alla Carlina.” The wine list specializes in local selections from the Veneto and Friuli regions, but don’t be discouraged as they are home to excellent vineyards. End your meal with the classic tiramisu.
