THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Longhorn Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
The original Longhorn on Peachtree Street had quite humble beginnings. Not a family chain, not a power steakhouse, Longhorn has since filled a void and is now a large regional chain of 169 restaurants. You will find country music (canned), miscellaneous animal heads on the walls and peanuts on the floor, along with a fun-loving crowd of mostly regulars. The menu has expanded from the anchors of Flos filet and the choice New York strips, hand-cut and aged in-house. Longhorn now offers prime rib and chicken, including a chicken special smothered with cheese, bacon and Texas barbecue sauce. Popular side dishes range from beans to baked potatoes, sautéed onions and mushrooms. There may be better steaks served in Atlanta (certainly more expensive ones), but Longhorn has the Texas-in-Atlanta fun ingredient you wont find anywhere else. Other locations.
