THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Lonny's Restaurant Review:
Step off of Port Townsends busy streets and into Lonnys, where calm décor and Italian comfort food await you. Named one of the Northwest's best places to kiss, the interior is reminiscent of an arched Tuscan villa. The open kitchen yields traditional classics like penne pasta with sausage and tomatoes, rigatoni Gorgonzola and chicken saltimbocca, prepared with prosciutto, sage, anchovies and butter, as well as more modern takes on the classics, like a starter of mussels with braised fennel and saffron crème or grilled duck breast with huckleberry-port sauce. Desserts like deep dish Braeburn apple pie and Belgian white chocolate-and-Kahlua semifreddo keep tourists and locals coming back for more.
