The extensive and sophisticated cocktail menu alone is a reason for living while the menu lives up to it. Chef Jason Wallis offers a good menu with starters like scallops and chorizo and a charcuterie plate. The big change is the emphasis on properly hung and treated steaks, where prices range from a burger at £12.50 to £27.50 for a fillet. Other mains might include chicken breast with potato rösti and wild mushroom jus or rump of lamb with sweet potatoes. It’s all very up to the moment as suits the smart venue.
