![]() : We like a wine selection that states, "White Zinfandel. . . NOT!" And that's just one of many things that'll make you smile at LouLou's. Long waits for tables are normal; the hostess will call your cell when your table is ready, so feel free to go for a walk on the beach or gaze out at the harbor while you wait. Wharf #2 is the commercial wharf where fishing vessels dock. When they do, chef Benito Carrillo makes sure he's there to select the day's specials. Whether you indulge in calamari and fries or sand dabs, you can be sure your seafood will sparkle with freshness. Try the cornmeal-crusted, fried oyster starter with its satisfying outer crunch with a silky, briny interior. The menu aims to please --- meat lovers can build a colossal custom burger, and those with smaller appetites can order chowder and salad with locally sourced greens. Service is prompt and cheerful. Did we mention LouLou's is quirky? The restrooms are off-site, down the wharf. But it’s still worth it. |
